Drummer hails live performances
The man who hits the drum kit in supergroup Them Crooked Vultures has spoken of how much he enjoys playing live.
Dave Grohl told BBC 6 Music that no matter how sick and tired he gets of travelling, the gigs are always good fun and very rewarding.
"When you go out and play it really makes up for the other 22 hours of the day," he commented.
Grohl, who used to be the drummer in Nirvana, said he looks forward to playing every single gig and always reflects on how great it was after he goes off stage.
However, the Foo Fighters frontman admitted that it can be a "real comedown" to have a great gig and know that the next one will not take place for a few weeks.
"That sucks," he said.
The band commenced their UK tour last week in Plymouth and will be heading to Australia and New Zealand in the new year.Posted on 13 Dec 2009 10:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News
