Doves prepare for hiatus

Doves are preparing for their last show before going on hiatus.
The 'Black And White Town' band will be playing a final homecoming show at Manchester's Warehouse project on October 16th, after which they have no plans to work on a new album or tour.
Guitarist Jez Williams said: "The Warehouse Project is our last gig for, I don't know. It could be a long time. We've have no plans to do another album. All I know is this is our last gig."
Doves, which also includes Jez' brother Andy Williams and Jimi Goodwin, have enjoyed a hugely successful career - with their 2009 album, 'Kingdom Of Rust', being critically well acclaimed, and accompanied by a successful tour before they released a Best Of earlier this year.
The group have previously denied, however, they are splitting for good, and refuted claims earlier this year that they would fully disband after touring.
Andy wrote on the band's web forum in March: "We never plan that far ahead and there is talk of us trying some other things out outside the band after we finish touring.
"But I'd never rule out us getting back in the studio again next year, we'll see."
The Warehouse project will be held in Manchester for the fifth time this year and will run from September 23 until the end of the year underneath Manchester's Piccadilly train station.
The series of events will start with a special preview featuring Maximo Park on September 23, before launching with a dance weekend, featuring DJs Eric Prydz, Basement Jaxx, Felix da Housecat, Adam Beyer and Steve Lawler.
