Doves announce UK tour dates
Electric guitar band Doves have announced a series of tour dates at venues across the UK.
The Mancunian group will kick off in Hull on April 28th 2010, before moving on to Leicester the following day.
Doves will then go on to play shows in Glasgow, Blackburn, Folkestone and Wolverhampton.
Further gigs will take place in London and Liverpool before the tour closes with a date in Bradford on May 9th 2010.
The shows have been planned to support the release of the group's new compilation record, The Best of Doves: The Places Between, which is set to come out on April 5th.
Earlier this month, Doves were added to the line-up for this year's V Festival, which also includes electric guitar band Kings of Leon and dance act The Prodigy.
Doves will also be performing at the Eden Project in Cornwall on July 2nd, with Mumford & Sons appearing as their support act at that show.Posted on 15 Mar 2010 15:29 to category : Band / Celebrity News
