Dizzee Rascal wants Manson duet
Dizzee Rascal wants to explore his dark side with Marilyn Manson.
The `Dirtee Disco' hitmaker has admitted the goth rocker is at the top of his list for a collaboration and believes a duet could be one of his biggest ever projects.
He said: "I want to work with Marilyn Manson. Seriously. I know he's worked with other hip-hop artists but I'd want it to be bigger than that, much bigger.
"I've always been a fan of Marilyn Manson, as he's got the whole visual thing locked-on, alongside the music.
"I've got a dark side - I'd want to explore it with him in a major, major way."
Dizzee - real name Dylan Mills - also spoke of his desire to work in every genre bar classical music.
He added: "I like to take on board stuff from metal, grunge, raga, electro or disco and bring it to my audience with my own take on it.
"Give me a genre and I'll make it work. Alright, the one thing I wouldn't fk around with is ballet, classical or that sort of st - unless I could find a way to put a good beat under it."Posted on 2 Jun 2010 16:30 to category : Music News
