Dizzee Rascal ready for Glastonbury
Posted on 25 Jun 2010 10:00 to category : Music News

Dizzee Rascal isn't "nervous" about playing Glastonbury.
The 'Holiday' rapper will be performing on the Pyramid Stage at the world famous music this weekend, and will be sharing the limelight with headlining acts such as Gorillaz and Muse.
The confident 26-year-old rapper said: "I'm not nervous. Without trying to sound arrogant, a crowd is a crowd. You get on the stage, zone in, jump about like a nutter. Then you zero in on what you need to do in those 70 minutes. The big names, none of that matters when I'm up there on stage."
As well as being excited about his own set, Dizzee is also looking forward to seeing his idol Snoop Dogg's performance.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "I'm so excited. He was the first rapper I got into, but I've never managed to see him live. 'Tongue 'N Cheek' was largely inspired by him."
The main acts start taking to the stage at the festival in Worthy Farm, Somerset, South West England, today (25.06.10).
Australian singer-and-painter Rolf Harris is set to open proceedings, while other acts playing today include Florence and the Machine, Hot Chip and Gorillaz.
