Dizzee Rascal: New album is going to be worldly
Posted on 15 Feb 2012 10:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News

The UK urban artist, who is known for his big beats, clever use of samples and pop sensibility, told the BBC that his fifth record has been inspired by music from all around the globe.
Although it will be a more "worldly" album of hits, Rascal assured fans that the songs would still be upbeat and fun.
"Having a year off to just chill, have a year off and have fun, not have to worry about was what I needed to do. No pressure," he told the BBC.
"I went to LA for a holiday but I started bumping into people, started getting in the studios and ended up staying out there for three weeks."
He went on to give his praise to fellow Brit Adele, who took home three major Grammy Awards this week.
Rascal explained that it was great for her as an artist to be recognised for her music, and that it was also inspirational for upcoming musicians in the UK.
His last album was 2009's Tongue n' Cheek, which included hits like Dance Wiv Me, Bonkers and Holiday.
