Digital electric guitar pushes music forward
The You Rock guitar, which looks similar to the guitars used in the hit computer game Rock Band, is a state-of-the-art music instrument.
It has a MIDI guitar controller and recorder "with touch sensitive fingerboard" and a synthesizer.
The instrument is fully compatible with music software like GarageBand, Cubase, Pro Tools, Sonar and Reason.
It has a USB interface which is compatible with PCs and even tablets like the iPad.
It's so state of the art that it can even be folded and put into a bag making it one of the most travel-friendly guitars in the business today.
Digital Journal's Paul Wallace said: "TheYoi Rock guitars look like a lot of fun to me. I was thinking that the Guitar Hero guitars, turned into real instruments, would be worth a try.
"Which is exactly what I'll do. It's about time some truly modern, functional instruments came on the market. These guitars plug in through USB, which is all I need."
