Different guitar styles to be celebrated at Bracknell festival
A festival in Bracknell is to celebrate the various forms of music that can be created with a guitar.
Different genres will be on show across four performance spaces, with musicians including Sonny Black, John Dignam, Antonio Forcione and Dan Arborise scheduled to perform, reports the Maidenhead Advertiser.
Guitar Fest is to take place from 10:00 BST on South Hill Park on April 30th and Black said there will be plenty of variety for attendees to enjoy.
"The festival covers all aspects of guitar, which is nice as you get festivals that are all bands or a range of music," remarked the musician, who runs his own independent record label.
He added that he is extremely passionate about using the musical instrument and would play anywhere he was asked.
"Playing the guitar is a lifetime quest to get as much as I can out of it," Black explained.
Black is scheduled to play on the Cellar Bar Stage at the bash at 16:40, ahead of an appearance by Arborise at 17:30.
Anyone who comes along to the show will have the opportunity to win a Yamaha acoustic guitar, which has been donated by the manufacturer.
