Developers 'working on new sounds for Yamaha Motif XF'

Yamaha Motif XF keyboard owners are set to benefit from a host of new sounds that have been developed for use with the musical instrument.

According to MI-Pro, a number of producers and sound developers have been hard at work creating new voices specifically for the Motif XF.

It said experienced companies such as Easy Sounds, DCP, Bolder Sounds and K Sounds have come up with Motif XF-specific versions of some of their classic tracks.

These include musical favourites such as Vintage Keys, Magical Pads and Chill Xperience.

It was explained by the report that these firms are not the only ones who have been producing content for the Yamaha keyboard.

"There's been a flurry of new and newish faces on the scene including Sonic Reality's Classic Rock Piano, two new libraries from the folks at Gospel Keyboard and the debut offering from Garritan," the article noted.

The original Motif was released by Yamaha back in 2001 and the XF version builds on its success to offer musicians the use of flash memory and comprehensive high sound quality.

Music can be created via the keyboard, while its capabilities can also be used alongside a variety of software applications.
