Demetri Martin 'has only started playing musical instruments recently'
Comedian and talented musician Demetri Martin has revealed he has only started learning to play instruments in the past decade.
Speaking to the Toronto Star, the performer revealed that he came into comedy fairly late giving up a legal career at the age of 24 - but was even slower to start playing musical instruments.
"The first time I played a musical instrument was when I was 29 and I just turned 37," he explained.
"I never thought I was musical or that I could play any instruments."
He stated that he was happy to have made a change of career in his mid-20s, stating that the key was not being afraid of altering his life.
Martin has previously appeared with fellow musical comedians Flight of the Conchords in an episode of their TV series.Posted on 8 Jul 2010 18:00 to category : Instruments News
