Dave Rowntree: Blur will record again
Posted on 4 Jul 2010 09:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Dave Rowntree, the man behind the drum kit in Blur, has said the band are keen to record music together again.
Speaking to the Sun, he explained that the current difficulty is finding a space in everyone's schedule.
Rowntree is currently studying for a law degree and hit back at recent reports that he is putting that above playing the drums.
"Playing and making music is as much a part of me as eating and breathing. I've done it virtually all of my life," he explained.
"I've certainly not rejected a music career for a law one."
He said Blur's plans to get back in the studio again are currently only "vague", as they want there to be a solid reason for them committing to making another album.
Rowntree stood as a Labour candidate at the last general election, finishing in second place in the constituency of the Cities of London and Westminster.
