Dave Grohl plays drum kit on Slash's solo album
Writing on his Twitter page, the Velvet Revolver guitarist revealed that Grohl plays the drum kit on the new song.
The pair were joined in the recording studio by Slash's Velvet Revolver bandmate Duff McKagan on bass guitar.
Commenting on the new track, the electric guitar player described it as a "killer instrumental" that is "very heavy".
Slash is collaborating with an array of famous artists on his upcoming solo album, including Fergie, Iggy Pop, Ozzy Osbourne, Ronnie Wood and Jason Bonham.
The record, which also features stars such as Adam Levine of Maroon 5, Steven Adler and Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, is set to be released next year.
Meanwhile, Grohl is working on his sideline project Them Crooked Vultures, which sees him take to the drum kit behind Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age and Led Zeppelin's bass guitar player John Paul Jones.Posted on 24 Sep 2009 15:30 to category : Band / Celebrity News
