Dave Grohl keeping faith in old guitar
Dave Grohl has been using the same electric guitar to write songs on since setting up the Foo Fighters back in 1994.
The star, who first shot to fame as the man behind the drum kit in Nirvana, revealed that little has changed in his songwriting process in the years the band has been going, although he does put more time and effort into coming with lyrics.
"I still write on the same old guitar, still demo on my same old cassette player, still use thin Sharpie pens and yellow school paper," he explained.
"Some habits you just don't want to break."
Foo Fighters have recently announced they are to play two mammoth gigs at the Milton Keynes Bowl next summer.
Support acts already confirmed for the shows on July 2nd and 3rd 2011 include Biffy Clyro, Jimmy Eat World, Death Cab for Cutie, Tame Impala and The Hot Rats.
