Dave Grohl: New Foo Fighters album designed to be played live
Electric guitar player Dave Grohl has explained the Foo Fighters' new album Wasting Light has been set out in the order the band would want to play it live.
Speaking to NME, the star revealed considerable thought had gone into the sequencing of the LP, with the band organising it as though the songs were to feature on a live setlist.
"It all makes perfect sense to me," Grohl said.
"Even if they weren't in that order on the record, I think that's the order we'd put them in to play them."
The electric guitar player, who recently took home the Godlike Genius prize at the NME Awards, is set to join the rest of the Foo Fighters in playing two massive gigs at the Milton Keynes Bowl in July.
The Foos have also been booked as one of the headline acts for this year's T in the Park festival.
They will be joined at the event by the likes of the Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Manic Street Preachers, Blink 182, Pulp and Noah and the Whale.
The bash takes place between July 8th and 10th in Balado, Scotland.
