Dave Grohl: I don't play drums on Michael Jackson track
The Foo Fighters and Nirvana legend appears as drummer on the song I Can't Make It Another Day but claims he was never behind a drum kit for the track.
Speaking to Red Bulletin, he said: "That was messed up actually. Lenny Kravitz – who I only met once – called and asked if I want to play drums on a track. I said, 'Sure', played drums on it and I never heard from them again.
"On the sleeve notes it says 'Michael Jackson featuring Lenny Kravtiz and Dave Grohl' but they didn't use any of my recordings. That's not cool."
Before he became a frontman man with his current band, Grohl played the drums for Nirvana.
Even though he rocks an electric guitar these days, he is still respected as one of the greatest contemporary drummers in the industry.
He even helps pals out now and again, as he did last month when he stepped in as drummer for Cage The Elephant.
