Damon Albarn joins Massive Attack on stage

Electric guitar player and former Blur frontman Damon Albarn has made a surprise appearance at a Massive Attack gig.
He joined the group at the Hammersmith Apollo to sing on two tracks – Splitting the Atom and Saturday Comes Slow, reports NME.
Massive Attack's 3D introduced the electric guitar player to the stage, praising Albarn for his contribution to the band's latest album, Heligoland.
"It's my great pleasure to introduce Damon Albarn, he was partly responsible for the latest record - thanks a lot mate," 3D said.
Albarn is next due on stage at the Coachella Festival as his other band Gorillaz headline the US event.
The new Gorillaz album is set to be released in March and includes collaborations from two formers members of The Clash.
Electric guitar player Mick Jones and bass guitarist Paul Simonon perform together on the record's title track, Plastic Beach.
