Converse Shoe With Built In Wah Pedal!
The design was made for a competition run by Creative Social, Converse and Google . The brief was simply: "We're going to give you some Chucks. You do something amazing with them'.
Dubbed the 'All Wah' - this rock-modded shoe swaps the potentiometer usually found in a Wah pedal with a flex sensor. This sensor is placed in the sole of the shoe and with movement it can fully replicate a Wah sound.
It even has two jack sockets so you can connect your footwear to your amp and guitar!
The Wah-Wah effect was first used by Chet Atkins and has become a staple sound for many guitarists and bassists alike.
Jimi Hendrix, Kirk Hammett (Metallica), Eddie Van Halen and Zakk Wylde are just some of the other famous names to utilize this classic effect.
