Coldplay to auction off guitars and keyboards
Posted on 15 Dec 2009 20:00 to category : Instruments News

Electric guitars, keyboards and guitar amps owned by Coldplay are set to be auctioned off for charity.
According to the UK-based rock band, they have amassed an awful lot of gear over the last ten years.
As a result, they are giving fans the opportunity to get their hands on a piece of rock history and raise money for a good cause at the same time.
Proceeds of the auction will go to Kids Company, a London charity that offers support to vulnerable youngsters in the city.
Coldplay said: "All items will either be signed by the four of us, or accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, again signed by all of us."
The band added that their End of Decade Clearout Sale would also include posters and platinum discs.
Coldplay are currently gearing up for an intimate gig in front of just 500 people in Exeter this weekend.
The show at Exeter Castle will help to raise money for charity group Mencap.
