Coldplay return before Christmas
Posted on 22 Feb 2010 16:30 to category : Music News

Coldplay's next album will "hopefully" be released before Christmas.
The indie band are presently working on the follow up to 2008s 'Viva La Vida' in London, and their recordings are held so tightly under lock and key even they can't access them.
Frontman Chris Martin said: "Hopefully we'll release it before this Christmas."
He added: "There's only two people in the whole building who know how to open all the recording files,
"Even the band don't know how to do it. We couldn't even steal our own music at the moment. You would have to be a computer genius and a great burglar to get into the building, and download it - and then you'd have to mix it."
It has previously been reported the band - which also includes Guy Berryman, Johnny Buckland and Will Champion - will produce the new record with Brian Eno, who worked with them on 'Viva La Vida', and will try to lend the new album a more intimate feel.
A source said: "This is the plan to keep them as close to their fans as possible. They have hit a rich vein with their songwriting and feel more creative than ever."
"They have this work ethic while the going is good to just keep working as hard as possible."
