The guitar group behind such well-known tracks as Talk, Clocks, Yellow and the recent number one Paradise, will be taking to the stage at an occasion to mark the sporting event's close.

The long-running group released the LP Parachutes back in 2000. Since then their albums have included X & Y and their most recent, Mylo Xyloto. Alongside Martin, Coldplay is made up of Jonny Buckland, Will Champion and Guy Berryman.
