Lego House singer Ed Sheeran whipped his acoustic guitar out for a rendition of Wish You Were Here, with drums player Nick Mason from Pink Floyd.
Meanwhile, Say You'll Be There group the Spice Girls gave two of their most famous songs an outing: debut single Wannabe and the lead single from their second album, Spice Up Your Life.
Another well-known '90s tune was heard when Liam Gallagher gave his former band Oasis' 1995 hit Wonderwall a sing alongside his current group, Beady Eye.
However one famous music instruments player whose song was played, but who didn't appear to sing in person, was Kate Bush.
Her Running Up That Hill – a song featured on 80's album Hounds of Love - was played during part of the event.
