Cliff Richard and The Shadows return to the stage
Posted on 21 Sep 2009 16:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News

The music legends are undertaking a major tour to mark the milestone, treating fans to classic hits such as Move It, The Young Ones and Living Doll.
Their tour got underway at the weekend in Ireland and will move to the UK and Europe, before heading to Australia and New Zealand.
Hank Marvin played his trademark red and white Fender Stratocaster during the gig, while Sir Cliff evoked memories of the past by sporting his famous pink jacket.
Sir Cliff and the band have also recorded a new album, which consists of re-recordings of their old hits, along with covers of rock 'n' roll classics such as Sea Cruise and Singing the Blues.
Commenting on the LP, the singer said: "The album sounds like the old Cliff and The Shadows - only better."
