Classical guitars recommended to musicians

According to Gibson, classical guitars are very often perceived to be more cultured and refined than lots of other types of instrument.
As a result, the manufacturer believes that many players - in particular those who like to adopt rock and blues styles - are ignoring the instrument in favour of other options.
Gibson has therefore reminded musicians that classical guitars can in fact be highly versatile and suitable for use in many different genres.
"This mellower cousin of the more popular steel-stringed flat-top is worth exploring whatever type of music you play," it commented.
Gibson said this means that a classical guitar can have plenty of applications outside the conservatory and concert hall.
George Harrison famously played a classical guitar on The Beatles song And I Love Her, which appeared in the film A Hard Day's Night.
