Clarence Clemons' nephew takes over his role
However, Bruce Springsteen, the legendary musician and founder of E Street Band, announced via his website that the role of saxophonist will be fulfilled by two musicians – including Clemons' nephew.
Jake Clemons will fill in for his late uncle along with Eddie Manion.
Last year, Jake blogged about his uncle's death, speaking candidly about his relationship with him.
"Navigating the troubled waters of failing health and into his eternal sleep has been trying to say the least," he wrote.
"The burden of such a loss is insurmountably deep and heavy. Clarence was more than an uncle to me, he was my hero. He loved me like a father, we talked as best friends, and played together as brothers."
Springsteen also announced that trombonist Clark Gayton, trumpeter Curt Ramm and tour singers Cindy Mizelle and Curtis King would be joining the ensemble for the Wrecking Ball World Tour later this year.
