Clapton guitar raises money for charity
A guitar signed by music legend Eric Clapton has been auctioned off for charity.
It is also signed by Mike Rutherford from Genesis and Procol Harum singer Gary Brooker, the Norfolk Eastern Daily Press reports.
The guitar was bought by a local collector, who handed over £500 to secure the deal.
Meanwhile, another guitar, this one signed by American rockers Green Day, was auctioned for £840 at the same event, which was held to raise money for charity Children with Leukaemia.
In addition to signed instruments, a host of other items were for sale, including a DVD of a Cream reunion at the Albert Hall signed by Clapton.
A total of more than £6,000 was raised through the sale of the musical memorabilia, as well as a gig featuring performances from five bands.
