Clapton dismisses Cream reunion
Posted on 29 May 2009 07:37 to category : Band / Celebrity News

The blues guitarist - whose prowess on the Fender Stratocaster led to him being lauded as a god - formed the supergroup with Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce in the late 1960s, producing classics such as Badge and I Feel Free.
All three original members reunited for a series of concerts in 2005, although in an interview with Rolling Stone, Clapton said that was a one-off that would not be repeated.
"I don't think we need to go there again," he commented.
"We've gone as far as we could with that."
However, he said he would "never say never", adding that he has no intention to retire any time soon.
Clapton stated that he is still to make what he considers to be best his best album, despite his past successes with Cream, Derek and the Dominos, the Yardbirds and as a solo artist.
