Chuck Berry's Gibson ES-335 reach 'profound and pervasive'
The influence of the music written by Chuck Berry on his Gibson ES-335 has been noted as being "profound and pervasive".
Cited as being one of the top ten most influential players of a Gibson guitar by the company's website, the music that he produced was called a "virtual Bible of six-string classics".
The musician, who is known for hits such as Johnny B Goode and Maybellene, was likened to Shakespeare in how his ability and songwriting skill with his Gibson ES-335 have assimilated into the rock and roll sound that still resounds today.
Known as The Father of Rock and Roll, Berry was the first person to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and was heralded as an influence on countless bands throughout the 1960s and 1970s, including the Rolling Stones and the Beatles.
To this day the singer still performs once a month the Blueberry Hill restaurant in St Louis.
