Cheryl Cole's concert pay day
Posted on 18 May 2010 10:00 to category : Music News

Cheryl Cole is to be paid £250,000 - for just 30 minutes work.
The 'Parachutes' singer will receive the staggering sum for a brief performance this evening (18.05.10) at a Cannes dinner and party hosted by luxury jewellery firm de Grisogono.
She is also believed to be receiving several trinkets as a thank you for appearing at the lavish event, which will take place at the Hotel du Cap, in front of guests including supermodel Naomi Campbell and designer Margerita Missoni.
After her performance, Cheryl will jet straight to Monte Carlo for the World Music Awards.
Her close friend will.i.am - who she has been romantically linked to since splitting from husband Ashley Cole earlier this year - is paying for a helicopter so she could arrive on time to hear him DJ at the event.
The 'Fight for this Love' hitmaker will be travelling in luxury to the event at the Le Meridien hotel - the white aircraft has a plush gold and leather interior and will be stocked with pink champagne and Primrose Hill Bakery's famous red velvet cupcakes.
A source said: "will.i.am thinks the world of Cheryl and this shows it. All the biggest showbiz names will be there - having her by his side is just the icing on the cake."
