Cheryl Cole praises the "fresh" sound of Lana Del Rey
"I noticed Lana about a year ago. I was hearing these songs that were really fresh to my ear and amazing and I asked the guy who she was," the Fight for this Love singer said in a chat with Capital FM.
Cole's upcoming record is called A Million Lights and will hit stores in several weeks' time on June 18th.
Del Rey popped up on Sunday's edition of BBC show The Voice, singing just before viewers were told which two artists were set to depart the programme. Her LP, Born To Die, reached number one earlier this year.
Cole's June record is set to include a Del Rey cameo. As well as that, there will be an appearance from Will.i.am, a coach on The Voice, she said on Capital FM.
Call My Name, her next single, has attracted much media attention.
