Charity wants unwanted musical instruments
Life Music Foundation, a charity that funds and develops the music skills of primarily disadvantaged young people who can't afford classes, is urging people whose cellos, violins and electric guitars are sitting at home and not being used.
On its website, founder Daniel O'Connell, said: "We still need your unwanted musical instruments and memorabilia. If you have something that is taking up space at home that you no longer have any use for then let us know, we are more than happy to come and pick up.
"All instruments will either be used by young people to practice on, or will be sold with all proceeds going back into the charity. Help support us in doing something positive for Newport and the young people of our city."
Founded last year, the work of Life Music Foundation is increasingly finding a resonance with disadvantaged young people who love music but can't afford to take classes or buy music instruments.
