Chad Smith launches Signature Kit with Pearl

Drumming hero Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers has launched a signature drum kit with Pearl, his long term drums sponsor. Only 40 of these sets are available in the UK.
The drum kit has been constructed to reflect the unique nature of Chad's drumming. Finished in bold colours, each drum features specially designed art, and limited edition badges. On the front bass drum head there are custom Red Hot Chilis graphics, and the kit is finished off with the classic Chad Smith Signature Snare Drum.
The kit is comprised of a 22 x 18 bass drum, 12 x 9 rack tom, 14 x 14 and 16 x 16 floor toms, a full complement of 70 Series hardware, as well as the 14 x 5 Chad Smith Snare.
Chad has just concluded a two year tour with the Chili Peppers in support of their multi-platinum album "Stadium Arcadium". The band are planning on a hiatus for a brief period, which Chad will use to record with his band Chickenfoot, a supergroup featuring renowned guitarist Joe Satriani.
