Celebrated Bassist Kevin Walker Praises Steinberg
The celebrated songwriter, bassist and producer Kevin Walker has worked with the likes of Timbaland, Prince, Justin Timberlake and Kanye West and has toured with a huge number of household names.
Kevin has been a user of Cubase since he got his first copy in 1992, and now his studio is based around Nuendo and recently Cubase 5.
It's not just in the studio that Kevin uses Steinberg products however; having been a musical director for a number of stars, he's used Cubase for many things including tracking live vocals on stage.
The latest incarnation of Cubase has given Kevin renewed respect for the software.
"The pitch correction tools are great. I used to use Melodyne. I find VariAudio a lot simpler and more efficient."
"You are not going to realize the full capacity of Cubase without the new hardware integration.
"I want to switch to all Steinberg software and hardware in my studio to get the full benefit because everything works so well."Posted on 24 Feb 2010 14:53 to category : Band / Celebrity News
