Casio PX-330 Digital Piano hailed in recent review
Posted on 10 Nov 2009 10:29 to category : Instruments News

The PX-330 is the latest keyboard in Casio's popular Privia range.
As Playmusic Pickup have noted in their recent review, this is a home keyboard that might just make its way outside of the living room and onto the stage.
In total, the Casio PX-330 has 125 tones, 180 rhythms, and 8 digital effects to choose and play with that cover far more than just an array of 'typical' piano sounds.
Playmusic Pickup commented that "besides the grand piano sounds, the PX-330 also features a wealth of alternative keyboard sounds."
"Organs and electric pianos sit alongside some pretty convincing interpretations of non-keyboard sounds including strings, bass and guitar."
The keyboard also features a Rhythm Editor as well as a multi-track recorder that allows the user to record up to five separate songs, with up to 17 separate layers of backing available per song.
Another additional feature found on the PX-330 is a USB port, allowing the user to store and transfer songs from their computer direct to the keyboard's memory.
The PX-330 has great playability - "the similarity in feel to a 'real' acoustic piano is a really nice tactile sensation that encourages playing."
"The keys' tri-sensor touch sensitivity adds to the sense of realism by allowing a certain amount of dynamics, too."
In summary, Playmusic Pickup applauded the Casio PX-330 for being a home keyboard that ticks all the right boxes.
A great feel, response, compact size, a wealth of professional sounds and a variety of incredibly user-friendly features all serve to make this a keyboard that works in the home, a music studio, or the stage.
