Carl Barat promises 'piano-based' solo album
Speaking to BBC Newsbeat, the former Libertines and Dirty Pretty Things star said the record has been finished.
"It's kind of naked, kind of stripped down," he said. "It's more piano-based."
The electric guitar player added that fans could expect some surprises from the record.
"It's definitely different from The Libertines. It's different from anything I've done before. It's more me."
A release date for the album has not yet been confirmed and no tour dates have been announced.
Barat added that he is still in touch with the rest of his bandmates from The Libertines and said he will soon sit down with Pete Doherty to discuss reforming the group.Posted on 21 Mar 2010 09:00 to category : Instruments News
