Carl Barat makes stage debut
Posted on 29 Jan 2010 16:49 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Carl Barat, the electric guitar player from The Libertines and Dirty Pretty Things, is back on stage appearing alongside Sadie Frost in a theatre production in London.
The pair are performing in Sam Sheperd play Fool for Love, in which Barat plays Eddie and Frost takes the role of his half-sister May.
Speaking to BBC6 Music about the role, the electric guitar player said that it has been difficult for him to master the American accent that is required for the role.
"My accent went to London a couple of times, just visited, and then a couple of times went to New York, but I'll try and iron those out," he said of the opening night performance.
Barat has already appeared in one film Telstar, a biopic about producer Joe Meek.
Earlier this month, the electric guitar player revealed that he was hopeful The Libertines would reform in 2011.
He told BBC News that former bandmate Pete Doherty was also keen to get the group back together at some point in the future.
