Buzzcocks and The Charlatans confirmed for Wickerman Festival
Posted on 15 May 2010 09:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Electric guitar bands Buzzcocks and The Charlatans are among the biggest names in a host of acts that have just been confirmed for The Wickerman Festival in Scotland.
The event, which is set to take place on July 23rd and 24th 2010 in Dundrennan, will also see performances from Goldie Lookin Chain, 808 State, Orange and Tony Christie, festival organisers have confirmed.
Tickets for the two-day spectacular are on sale at £90 per person for those aged over 16, while 13 to 15-year-olds get in for £42.50.
Children aged 12 and under receive free entry to the family-friendly event.
Previously-announced acts for the show include Ocean Colour Scene, Sons and Daughters and The Futureheads.
Last month, Ross Millard, the electric guitar player in The Futureheads, told the Herald that their new record The Chaos marks a return to the group's "original blueprint" of spiky guitar lines and unexpected musical twists.
