Bush to release new album ten years on from their last one
Bush have announced that they are to release a new studio album called The Sea of Memories.
Their first album in over a decade since 2001's Golden State will be released on their own label Zuma Rock Records.
It won't quite be the Bush of old as frontman Gavin Rossdale and Robin Goodridge, who plays drums, are the only two original members.
They will be replaced by Chris Traynor on guitar and Corey Britz on bass.
Rossdale told the Hollywood Reporter: "When making music, you have a choice to repeat what you've done or move on. It would've been safe to just rework Sixteen Stone over and over, but what kind of life would that be?"
He added that he liked the idea "changing, developing and morphing".
The new album includes the tracks Heart of the Matter, the Sound of Winter and All Night Doctors.
Bush will be working with producer Rob Rock, who is known for his collaborations with Metallica and Aerosmith, so expect big rock anthems to emerge on the new album.
