Bruce Springsteen to rerelease Darkness on the Edge of Town
Posted on 1 Jul 2010 08:47 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Legendary electric guitar player Bruce Springsteen is to release a deluxe edition of his 1978 album Darkness on the Edge of Town.
According to his E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt, the updated edition will include unheard outtakes dating from the time the album was made.
He stated that ten such recordings have been discovered so far, in addition to the ten included on a 1998 boxset, reports Rolling Stone.
"I'm not sure how many we'll put on there," said Van Zandt.
"We'll go back and he might finish a lyric on one or two, or finish a harmony on one or two, but we'll keep them intact."
Earlier this month, a live DVD of Springsteen's performance at the Hard Rock Calling Festival in Hyde Park, London last year was released.
It also features excerpts from the electric guitar player's headline slot at Glastonbury 2009 as a bonus feature.
