British Music Experience 'lets you discover your inner rock star'
People who want to try their hand at playing their electric guitar or getting behind a drum kit for the first time have been advised to head to the British Music Experience (BME) in London.
According to Guardian journalist Chris Beanland, a visit to the venue - which is situated inside the O2 - gave him the opportunity to live out his rock 'n' roll fantasies for the day, as he picked up a guitar for the first time and drummed along to Blur's Song 2.
He explained that the museum also operates a special system in which your performances on musical instruments are filmed and can be downloaded when you return home.
The history of British music is also covered, with everything from Beatles artwork to Elton John's glasses on display at the site.
