Brandon Flowers talks track title
Posted on 13 Sep 2012 16:44 to category : Band / Celebrity News

And now the band's singer Brandon Flowers has given the world a little extra insight into the story behind this intriguingly titled number.
Talking to The Sun about the track's title, Flowers commented: "I didn't come up with Miss Atomic Bomb, but I was reading something about Nevada history… and that just jumped out. That's such a strong title, a great launching pad."
This followed on from a chat he had with pianos player Elton John and Bernie Taupin, the song-smith, it seems.
"[Taupin] just said, 'Do you like titles?'... he writes pages of titles before lyrics," Flowers explained.
Thekillers.co.uk website currently features an interactive slot machine, tying in with the upcoming album. The group will be in the likes of Newcastle, Manchester, Nottingham and Sheffield for touring action soon.
Their past songs include tracks with titles such as Smile Like You Mean It, Believe Me Natalie, Human, When You Were Young and Jenny was a Friend of Mine.
