Bon Jovi to put down electric guitars for a break?
Electric guitar band Bon Jovi are set to take a break once they complete their current tour.
The group were recently named as the most successful touring artist of 2010 and drummer Tico Torres has said they may rest up once they finish the final leg of the Circle tour.
"I think it's important for us to just get away from the audience for a bit. Sometimes you need to get away so people can appreciate you better," he told Billboard.com.
Bon Jovi, who are famous for hits such as It's My Life, Livin' On A Prayer and Wanted Dead or Alive, are due to finish their commitments in July.
However, while guitarist Richie Sambora was keen to illustrate that they would be taking time to themselves, he does not expect the break to last for long.
Jon Bon Jovi, who is the singer in the band, has said he intends to release another solo record soon, but Sambora said this will not present problems as "everybody gets to be an individual".
This means all of the members can pursue other creative avenues if they choose to do so.
