Bon Jovi announced to play at 10-day Hyde Park festival
The US rockers will top the bill on July 5th as part of Barclaycard British Summer Time which will encompass more than a week of events taking place over two weekends from June 28th and July 7th.
There will be six concerts taking place during this time. It has been made possible thanks to a partnership between The Royal Parks and AEG Live which won a five-year contract to host concerts at the central London site.
Rob Hallett, president, international touring, AEG Live, said: "It is fabulous that, as we begin to celebrate a decade of working together with Bon Jovi, we come together again to launch a reimagined series of shows at the iconic Hyde Park."
Live concerts at Hyde Park have been put under increased scrutiny after Bruce Springsteen's was famously cut short in summer 2012 after the legendary guitarist went over the agreed curfew.
Bon Jovi will be hitting UK shore in June when they perform their Because We Can tour in Manchester, Sunderland, Birmingham, Cardiff and Glasgow.
