Blur 'have more songs in them'
Indie band Blur may be set to release more material in the near-future - if the president of their record company gets his way.
The electric guitar band are bringing out a new limited-edition single to support Record Store Day later this week and Miles Leonard, president of Parlophone Records, is one of the few people to have hear the recording so far.
Leonard told BBC 6 Music that fans who pick up the record could look forward to listening to a fantastic summer tune.
Leonard added that he expects a very positive reaction to the track and expressed his hope that it will encourage Blur to return to the studio once again.
Last week, frontman Damon Albarn told the Sun the band felt they had to support Record Store Day, which is taking place on April 17th 2010, as independent shops are an important part of the UK's musical culture.Posted on 13 Apr 2010 15:10 to category : Band / Celebrity News
