Blur add Hungarian festival to busy summer schedule
The iconic Britpop band will play the Hungarian event, which takes place between August 5th and 12th next year, and represents their first appearance at the European festival.
Blur have already been announced to play Poland's Open'er event in July and will be joined by the likes of Queens of the Stone Age and Arctic Monkeys who were added to the bill recently.
The band spoke out about playing new shows in 2013 stating: "Every show next summer will be very special – we can't wait to get out and play for all our lovely fans who we haven't seen for a while."
Blur have played a string of major shows since their reformation in 2008 and performed at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games but have been coy on whether they will be recording a full length album in the future.
Sziget is one of the most popular and renowned festivals across Europe and has played host to the likes of The Stone Roses, Pulp and Muse in the past few years.
