Posted on 25 Jun 2010 15:25 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Blink 182's frontman and bass guitar player Mark Hoppus has revealed the band are planning to record new material later this year.
Writing on his blog HiMyNameIsMark, Hoppus stated that the group are planning to get into the studio once they complete a summer tour around Europe and a single date in California.
He said Blink 182 will not play any further live dates until the album is completely finished.
"All of us have ideas from before and after the tour last summer and are excited to get into the studio and see those ideas come to light. Simple as that," the bass guitar player added.
Blink 182 are one of the headline acts at this year's Reading and Leeds festivals, which are taking place between August 27th and 29th 2010.
Other acts on the bill this year for the dual-site event include Queens of the Stone Age, Arcade Fire and The Libertines.
