Bill Ward: Still want to drum for Black Sabbath
Posted on 20 Feb 2012 12:56 to category : Instruments News

Bill Ward had kicked off the month by throwing a spanner in the works, voicing publicly his disdain at what he saw was an unfair contract.
However, since then he has released a statement, Rolling Stone magazine has reported.
"At the earliest opportunity, I am prepared to go to the UK and record, and later tour with the band," the drummer said.
"Last week, we sent further communication to the attorney handling the negotiations to try to reach an agreement. At this time we are waiting to hear back. I remain hopeful for a 'signable' contract and a positive outcome."
He added that the rest of the bandmates were his lifelong friends and he didn't want to do anything to harm that friendship.
Black Sabbath are working with the legendary producer Rick Rubin, who will be masterminding their new studio album.
