Biffy Clyro planning 'ultimate' shows
Posted on 3 Aug 2010 07:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Biffy Clyro are planning the "ultimate rock show".
The Scottish rockers are set to embark on an arena tour of the UK in November and have promised fans an "over the top" rock 'n' roll extravaganza complete with pyrotechnics.
The band told BANG Showbiz: "We plan to go as over the top as we possibly can. We know arena tour is a bit of a dirty word in this industry but it'll still be the ultimate rock show. Pyrotechnics? Why not. We might even try to fly, who knows?"
Biffy Clyro - frontman Simon Neil, bassist James Johnston and drummer Ben Johnston - will perform in Scotland and Wales and play one date at Wembley Arena, England, in early December.
The trio scooped the Best Video gong for their pirate-themed promo for 'The Captain' at last week's Relentless Energy Drink Kerrang! Awards and admit it was a dream come true to play out their childhood fantasies.
Speaking about their win, Simon said: "We all dreamed from a young age of acting in a pirate movie so actually doing it for 'The Captain' video was a reward in itself. Then to go and get an award for it on top is just incredible."
