Beyonce takes top track of the decade honour
Posted on 26 Nov 2009 10:14 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Beyonce's Crazy In Love has been handed the best track of the decade title by staff at NME.
The music magazine's recently-published list of the best albums of the decade was dominated by guitar bands, with Is This It by The Strokes topping the list.
However, the top tracks list has embraced a wider selection of genres, with Beyonce joined in the top five by MGMT's Time To Pretend, Paper Planes by MIA and OutKast's Hey Ya!
The sole representative of the guitar-based indie music that NME has championed for many years is Hard To Explain by The Strokes.
Guitar bands do feature heavily in the rest of the top 20, with tracks by The Rapture, Arctic Monkeys, Blur, Arcade Fire, The Libertines, The White Stripes and Radiohead all proving popular.
Meanwhile, monthly music magazine Uncut has named Merriweather Post Pavilion by Animal Collective as the best album of 2009.
