Beyonce gets confidence from music
According to the glamorous superstar, she likes to write songs which empower her, as well as her millions of female fans.
Speaking on the Lorraine Show, she said: “I am all about giving women strength. We are so incredible, I am so happy I am a woman.
“I always try to write songs and sing songs that I need to hear to reinforce my ideas and my confidence.”
Beyonce, who recently announced she and husband Jay-Z are expecting their first child, recently put her music instruments to one side to concentrate on her fledgling fashion career.
Along with her mum Tina Knowles, Beyonce has launched the first UK collection for her House of Dereon label.
The line was on show at an exclusive catwalk show at Selfridges in London which was attended by celebs such as Paloma Faith, Eliza Doolittle and Rosario Dawson.
Beyonce has previously stated that her love of fashion inspires her music. And it certainly seems like she is keen to combine the two as the busy songstress has recently released the video for her latest track 1+1.
