Beyonce, U2 and Coldplay 'set to headline Glastonbury'
Glastonbury Festival has reportedly secured three of the world's biggest acts as this year's headliners.
According to the Holy Moly website, electric guitar band U2 will take to the Pyramid Stage on the Friday night of the bash, making up for their withdrawal last year after lead singer Bono had to undergo back surgery.
British stars Coldplay are lined up to appear on the Saturday and the festival will then be closed on the Sunday by US superstar Beyonce, it was claimed by the website.
She last performed in the UK in the final few months of 2009, playing arena shows in Liverpool, Birmingham, London, Manchester, Newcastle and Nottingham as part of an extensive world tour.
Glastonbury is set to take place from Wednesday June 22nd to Sunday June 26th this year, with tickets for the event having already sold out.
Earlier this month, the bash was named as the International Music Festival of the Year at the 22nd Annual Pollstar Concert Industry Awards.
It is the sixth time that Glastonbury Festival has been handed the prestigious accolade and festival organiser Emily Eavis was on hand to collect it at a ceremony in Los Angeles.
